Aquapolis Water Park
Located in the northwestern section of Golden Sands, Aquapolis Water Park is known as the most beautiful water park in Eastern Europe.

The Lighthouse Apartments are in the perfect location, 15 minutes from Varna Airport, 5 minutes from the nightlife and restaurants of lively Golden Sands and just 20 mins away by car and 30 mins by bus from the city centre of Varna. Also a 10 minute walk to Alen Mak beach were you will find bars and restaurants. The area is known amongst locals as the most desirable area in Varna.
Alen Mak
The apartments are located in the small seaside town of Alen Mak which adjoins the southern end of Golden Sands. It is a pretty university town that is fast becoming a centre for exclusive apartments and luxury villas. Alen Mak has the advantage of being a real town rather than a resort, with a mixture of both local and international residents.
The Lighthouse is a short walk from Alen Mak’s beach, which is a long stretch of golden sand lined with restaurants and bars. The beach is a local secret and therefore much less crowded than Golden Sands in the next bay. When you want to join in the action, the well known resort of Golden Sands is only five-minutes away by car. It offers a full range of tourist facilities such as high quality international restaurants, casinos and nightlife.

- Only 18 km north from the city of Varna and the airport there
- Declared a protected territory back in 1943, Golden Sands covers a territory of 177,13 hectares
- The beach starts at the foot of the forest - it is 3.5 km long, flat and up to 100m wide in places - and is known as one of the best sand beaches in Europe. The sandy bottom slopes gently into the sea and so there are no rocks, ledges or unpleasant drops. It is ideal for scuba diving and vacationing with children.
- The climate is mild, temperate continental and similar to that in the popular Mediterranean resorts. The average daytime temperature during the summer months is: air: 27 °С, sea water: 24°С
- There are numerous restaurants and bars, sports and entertainment facilities (see the Map). The first aqua-park of its kind in the country - Aquapolis offers an area of 40 000 sq.m; and combines a natural park environment with a number of artificially created elements - pools, water slides, elevations etc.
- For the children, Golden Sands organises a full programme of sports events, games, kids' discos and meetings with favourite cartoon characters
- For the adults, many festivities and cultural events in the renovated Amphitheatre, namely: Formal opening of the holiday season and International Children’s Festivals in June, Concerts of folk groups during May-September, Outdoor music concerts of jazz, evergreen, brass formations during June-September, Golden Sands Days in the first week of August and International Meeting of Twins in September.
Varna

From culture to clubs and bars, whether your taste is Carmen or Karaoke, Varna's got it. Varna is the biggest city on the coast but has still kept its friendly and laid-back atmosphere.
It is now Bulgaria's second city and, after Sofia, has the busiest nightclubs, the most shops and widest variety of restaurants.
Its attractions include the famous Sea Gardens, the Opera House and the Museum of Ethnology – reputedly the best museum in the country.
It also enjoys a café culture with both locals and tourists whiling away hours on restaurant terraces.
Varna is just 20 mins away by car and 30 mins by bus, providing city lifestyle on your doorstep when you want a change from the peace and beauty of Alen Mak. It is growing rapidly in affluence as outside investment boosts the local economy.
Varna is also the only city outside the capital with scheduled international flights.
